Exploiting a worker and making him/her work for meagre salary is the modern form of slavery.
Giving an employee working at the lower rung, a run for his / her money.
In the corporate heirarchy all the real hard work and pressure is conveniently thrown downward so the person with the lowest salary ultimately has to do all the hard work. Just because he /she is needy.
The working conditions are - You are made to work 9 hours a day for six days a week. Add additional 3 hours for you to get ready for work, travel to work, rejuvenate after work, and then have your food and finally get sleep for 6 to 7 hours.
Effectively, you are spending your whole life in the job itself with very little or no time for self-development.
As a result, you cannot progress further and you are stuck in the same rut. Isn't it the modern form of slavery? It's not a good karma to hold people in such positions just because of their poor financial backgrounds.
At the very least, you have to take the responsibility to develop, train your workers so that they get the chance to come up, reach the next level and/or excel in life.
Messing up with a person's highest goal of evolution and growth in any way is not a good karma.
I would say, companies and corporates are accumulating negative karma even if they seem to succeed for now and seemed to have achieved good toplines and bottomlines.
They justify all this to stay competitive in the market, they say.
But someday in some way in some sense, they will have to stand up and answer for how many lives they have ruined.
I interviewed many people and the only answer they could give me was that there is too much negativity in the world and that they are fine with it because they have learnt to play according to the system and rise above the victims of this system.
This is the system we are part of. You stay in the job market and compete with countless others for the best salary and position that you can get. The lowest positions are nobody's botheration as long as you yourself are having healthy work conditions and making good money.
Each man / woman for himself/herself.
